Overview: Equinox Fitness is a widely recognized industry innovator, known for delivering an unparalleled fitness experience. Organic rebuilt EquinoxFitness.com into an exceptional digital experience that creates structure for members and the club, helps members manage their fitness regimen online, makes it possible for Equinox to motivate members, offer incentives and rewards based on users' workout habits, and gives Equinox insights on how users interact with the brand. The new site also features tutorials of the club and explains club features.

As an industry first, Organic developed a functional flash application called MYEQ where club members can define goals, schedule workouts, book personal training sessions, register for classes, set up a custom fitness program, track their fitness progress or personal training, or refer a friend.

On MYEQ, members can select mobile or email reminders for their classes, and sync their MYEQ schedule to their Outlook calendar. After each workout, MYEQ will record registered members' workout information (minutes, intensity, repetitions, etc.). Ecommerce, music and lifestyle features were implemented throughout EquinoxFitness.com and integrated upgrade and special promotions capabilities were added within the MYEQ online application.

Organic also created a bike-booking engine that lets club members book their favorite bike in any of Equinox's popular Studio Cycling classes online, rather than wasting time waiting in line at the club. The "Book a Bike" tool also allows members to have SMS class reminders sent to them.

Results: The redesign of EquinoxFitness.com and the development and integration of MYEQ are great successes, and now keep existing customers engaged with Equinox Fitness outside of the club. These enhancements allow Equinox to create custom offers based on club members' habits, offer upgrades to membership, give members encouragement, and keep them motivated.
